Fee and Billing Policy
Bulk Billing Available For Eligible Patients
All patients not eligible for bulk billing will be privately billed, requiring full payment for services. This includes an out-of-pocket fee in addition to any Medicare rebate.
Payment is required at the time of the appointment via EFTPOS or credit card. WE NO LONGER ACCEPT CASH
Most privately billed consultations are eligible for a Medicare rebate with a valid Medicare card. The total fee, including the gap fee and medicare fee, must be paid on the day. Please bring a savings or cheque account EFTPOS card for immediate rebate processing, as rebates cannot be refunded to credit cards.
Medicare rebates are subject to Medicare regulations and may take 1–2 business days to appear in your account. Ensure your bank details are up-to-date with Medicare to avoid delays.
We offer bulk billing services for:
- Children under 16
- Pensioners, Health Care Card Holders & DVA card holders
- COVID-19 vaccinations, childhood immunisations and annual flu vaccinations. Flu vaccines are charged for patients not eligible for the government funded vaccination programme
- Health Assessments and Care Plans ** appointments unrelated to Health Assessments or Care Plans will incur a fee

GAP FEES ARE APPLICABLE FOR ALL PATIENTS-
Non-Medicare Patients
Patients will be charged the full fee (including a $35 gap fee and the Medicare consultation item fee). An itemized receipt will be provided for those with private insurance. Please contact your insurer for claim details, as we do not handle direct billing for non-Medicare patients.
Overseas Student and Visitor Health Cover (OSHC OVHC)
We accept
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and
Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC) for visitors, students, and workers.
Our clinic can make direct insurance claims with the following providers:
AHM, Bupa, IMAN, Medibank, and nib.
Children under 16 years, with eligible overseas student/ visitor health cover will be billed directly to the insurance provider with no out of pocket fees
Non- Rebatable Consultations
Medicare rebates are not available for certain consultations, including but not limited to: WorkCover compensation, sports, work-related, medico-legal, insurance assessments, or reports. Please inform reception staff when booking these types of appointments.
